Your Role
As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, the successful candidate will take ownership of all aspects of the payroll cycle, ensuring the seamless execution of payroll-related activities in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Day to Day
Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations
Adjust and maintain employee data as it pertains to new hires, terminations, wage increases, leaves of absence, etc.
Provide support and resolutions to employees and managers on payroll matters
Reconcile issues relating to tax, deductions, calculation of pay and direct deposits
Carry out month and year-end reconciliations for all payroll related accounts
Enrollment, modification, and termination of employees on all corporate benefit plans
Prepare monthly payments and reconciliation of employee deductions for benefits
Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field
Previous work experience in a related role or a strong interest in growing a career in payroll and benefits operations
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret data and ask questions for clarification
Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Application Suite, especially Excel
Good communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally both verbally and through digital channels
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team-based environment
Available to work on-site
Additional Assets
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, or a strong interest in continuing education to deepen payroll knowledge and understanding of standards and regulations
Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) in full cycle payroll functions
