Position Overview The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Winnipeg. Family culture and advancement opportunities Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities include correctly offloading products, recording delivery information, accepting payment for goods when required, and ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects. The Delivery Service Representative is expected to operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules and regulations of the road, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract Proven ability of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 80 lbs Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification Excellent customer service skills Strong mechanical aptitude A high level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self-directed Professional demeanor under stressful situations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment High School Diploma or equivalent Availability for nights and weekends #GFSCA We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for the next stage will be contacted.
