Position Summary: As a Research Assistant 2, the incumbent will: Conduct online research about Black community organizations and prepare reports Work with Principal Investigator and team to develop relevant system for presenting research data Assist with analysis of interview data Assist with analysis of archival data Attend local and national team meetings (virtual) Communicate with team leads and RAs at other national sites Opportunity to assist the Principal Investigator and national research team to prepare interim presentations and reports on emerging findings across sites Opportunity to assist with the preparation and presentation of conference papers, and preparation of papers for publication, with co-authorship opportunities Qualifications Required: Strong knowledge of theoretical and methodological frameworks of Black radical tradition/thought and/or decolonial thought and/or Critical Theory/Critical Race Theory Excellent written, communication, organizational, and collaboration/teamwork skills Awareness of community-based and participatory research methodologies.
