As a business account manager, you help maintain business relationships with struggling clients for accounts with a moderate impact on the business sector. You balance portfolio profitability with client/partner satisfaction. You serve and maintain personal business relationships with businesses, associations and groups. The ability to communicate effectively is therefore essential. You drive results by actively helping your unit achieve its sales and business development objectives. Your work and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of business. You advise and assist clients. You represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements in accordance with current processes, standards and directives. You also have opportunities to establish and negotiate product and service terms. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.
