Position Overview
As the Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities and supporting the growth of our client base. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, identifying RFP opportunities, closing small-scale sales, and maintaining an active sales pipeline. You will also manage quoting and contract preparation to support a seamless client onboarding process.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable conducting outreach, building client relationships, and taking ownership of moving opportunities through the sales cycle. You are a natural go-getter who excels at collaborating cross-functionally and takes pride in delivering top-notch client experiences. Your work will be crucial in keeping the sales pipeline moving efficiently and ensuring a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and research new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and monitoring RFP listings.
Engage new potential clients via email, phone, and other outreach methods to introduce Bienenstock’s offerings.
Work with the Marketing team to follow up on inbound leads and nurture early-stage prospects.
Lead Qualification
Collaborate with the Marketing team to evaluate and qualify inbound marketing leads based on client fit, project readiness, and budget.
Schedule meetings with qualified new leads and members of the senior leadership team or the appropriate Nature Play Advisor.
Initiate communication with potential clients to verify project information and transition them into the quoting process.
Close small-scale sales independently, ensuring a smooth and professional sales experience.
Escalate qualified leads to internal Nature Play Advisors when additional technical input or support is required.
Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
Close small-scale sales independently, ranging between $10K - 100K, ensuring a smooth and professional sales experience.
Track and manage a personal sales pipeline to meet activity goals and sales targets.
Negotiate pricing and terms for small-scale sales within approved guidelines.
Maintain strong knowledge of product offerings and communicate value propositions effectively to prospects.
Stay informed on industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.
Quote & Order Management
Review incoming order requests and prepare accurate quotes for nature play components, furnishings, and outdoor classrooms.
Review tender drawing packages and confirm project details with clients prior to generating and sending quotes.
Follow up on outstanding quotes to secure client approval and coordinate deposit invoicing.
Collaborate with the Production and Install teams to provide accurate shipping estimates and coordinate order fulfillment.
Contract Drafting & Documentation
Draft accurate client contracts based on finalized quotes and project requirements.
Coordinate with accounting and sales leadership to finalize and issue client contracts.
Maintain organized and accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.
Client Communications & Internal Liaison
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to orders, shipping, and timelines.
Ensure timely responses to all client requests and maintain a professional, friendly communication tone.
Proactively engage with clients to align expectations and keep them informed throughout the order lifecycle.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and consistent communication throughout the order process.
CRM Accuracy & Systems Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client and lead interactions in HubSpot CRM.
Use platforms such as Buildertrend and Google Workspace to support quoting, order tracking, and documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure system data is accurate and supports sales operations.
Qualifications
A completed diploma or bachelor's degree in business or related field of study.
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales support, order processing, or customer service in a client-facing environment
Experience preparing quotes, drafting contracts, and managing order processes
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proficient with HubSpot CRM, Buildertrend, and Google Workspace
Effective communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
