We’re looking for a dedicated Operating Engineer to help ensure our facility’s refrigeration systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably — keeping our warehouse running and our products at just the right temperature. Shift: Monday to Friday — 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM On-Call Rotation: 1 week out of every 3 What You'll Do Lead by example to promote a strong safety culture across the facility. Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems. Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Support and improve preventative maintenance programs to prevent equipment downtime. Monitor and adjust systems to reduce energy consumption and utility costs. Be part of an on-call rotation (1 week every 3) to handle system alarms and ensure 24/7 protection of refrigerated product. Uphold high standards of cleanliness, compliance, and workplace safety. Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement. What You Bring At least 1 year of experience in a similar role (industrial or warehouse environment preferred). Practical experience with ammonia refrigeration systems (preferred). A valid Class B (MMF) Refrigeration Operator Certificate is required; Class A is a strong asset. A safety-first mindset and dedication to following protocols. A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
