The Payroll Administrator is accountable for a wide range of payroll related duties including processing payrolls, entering new hires, terminations, employee changes and payroll reports. You will have the ability to maintain confidentiality and interact well with others within a repetitive, multitasking environment. Specific Responsibilities include: Preparation of weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls. responding to payroll related queries. Generating ROE’s. Processing deductions. Settling and exporting miles and earnings. Remittance and payroll reports. Our Ideal Candidate will possess: Interested in achieving designation through the Canadian Payroll Association. Post-secondary education related to payroll considered an asset. Detail oriented with a passion for working with numbers and data entry. Ability to manage in a multi-task environment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and be adaptable. Proficient in using Excel, Word, Outlook. Previous experience in Trucking Industry would be an asset. Previous experience in Great Plains Software and TMW would be an asset. Experience in an office setting with additional payroll experience considered to be an asset. This job is classified under NOC Code: 13102.
