As the Technology Centre Technician, you will provide technical support to our customers and conduct all in-house testing needs through the Unifiller Tech Centre. Your Primary Duties: Perform in-house equipment tests and evaluations Review and understand customers' depositing and food production Schedule and maintain the Tech Centre Calendar following internal procedures, working with all the different departments involved with it Maintain the Tech Centre clean and well-organized Update the Tech Centre inventory , request parts and accessories as needed following internal procedures Provide technical support for equipment and product applications Manage customer expectations and maintain rapport with customers Assess potential sales opportunities; suggest improved methods and techniques to help with their food production challenges; recommend system improvements Update Customer database as required Update Product Knowledge Base as required Other duties as assigned Your qualifications: If you have experience in the Baking or Food Industry, that's great, as we work with a variety of products! If not, that’s okay, too! You have an educational background or experience with electrical/mechanical equipment You can interact with a variety of individuals from different backgrounds and cultures You can lift up to 50 lbs. You have experience with the following systems: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). If you are not familiar with some, that is okay! As long as you are willing to learn, then we are willing to teach! You have amazing organizational, and time management skills and can multi-task You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing If you can speak a second language, that would be great! It makes it easier for us to communicate with our customers if we have staff that speak their language.
