Description
Main Purpose of the Role:
The Account Owner is the primary point of contact with the customer and provides customer/technical support, planning and optimization for the account. The Account Owner maintains and develops relationships with existing and new clients while ensuring the best possible revenue for ZIM.
Main Tasks:
Meets with clients for negotiating rates and closing deals
Delivers all sales presentations to key clients
Develops and implements strategic sales plans
Develops new accounts
Establishes and coordinates specialized rates (per commodity - if/when mandate has been assigned to him/her) for each office
Communicates with other offices in regards to specialized rates
Forecast and track key account metrics
CAN Marketing Report (weekly)
Weekly target report
Monitor and manage account’s business volume and revenue metrics within our company CRM system
Maintain and log sales activities in the CRM system.
Generate periodic customer forecast figures.
Respond to inquiries, by email or phone, from clients/vendors and other ZIM Offices
Act as a back up to team members
Requirements
C.E.G.E.P. (or equivalent) diploma
Three to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bilingual
Computer Literacy
Strong Proficiency in Excel
Current or prior Industry experience is a MUST!
