As the Internal Sales Representative, you will play a primary role between internal purchasing and accounting teams, as well as, working collaboratively with external suppliers representing Red River Lumber. The Internal Sales Representatives primary tasks will include providing product information to internal customers, processing sales orders, maintaining spread sheets, and data entry as required. You will partner with purchasing teams and assist with processing internal product requests, providing quotes, and sourcing for purchase.
Your contributions to the team:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Identify and target potential new customers through market research and networking.
Communicate with customers and vendors, place and track orders, review confirmations for accuracy.
Accurately enter orders, maintain spreadsheets, track inventory levels, manage stock orders in collaboration with Management.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely product delivery.
Assist with managing inventory levels and purchasing.
Provide product specifications and updates to the purchasing team and ensure team members are informed on new or updated offerings.
What you need to be successful:
Sales Experience in the building materials industry an asset.
Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of MS Office and related programs an asset.
