Waste Connections of Canada an immediate opening for a Garbage Truck Driver - Roll Off to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. We are looking for a SAFETY inclined, energetic, autonomous and proactive team player capable of making a difference in his/her team and community. The Garbage Truck Driver - Roll Off is responsible for waste and recycling collection services in various commercial sites to ensure that the materials are transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner to designated transfer station or landfill. This job is very physical and works outside in all weather conditions. COMPETITIVE HOURLY RATE & INCENTIVES: Full time, with benefits $32.36/hour (90% of wage for first 6 months) Monday to Friday, Based on a 10-hour day Start times vary from midnight to 5 am Benefits and RRSP's as per CBA REQUIREMENTS: Class 3 driver’s license (Newly licensed drivers welcome to apply) Clean CVOR and Abstract Front Load Driving experience an asset 2-3 years of Class 3 driving experience preferred.
