Job Description Full-time evenings Registered Nurse (230pm - 1030pm) Current Registration and Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the Ontario College of Nurses. Current certificate of an approved drug administration or equivalent course. Mentally and physically able to perform duties as outlined. Knowledge of principles and philosophy of long-term care. Previous long-term care experience and knowledge and experience in all documentation requirements for interdisciplinary progress notes and care plans required. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to complete assignments in a timely manner. Competence in MDS RAI and computer skills. Ability to work independently and ability to complete assignments in a timely manner. Ability to communicate with co-workers, other disciplines, residents and families. Ability to perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with applicable legislation, job routines, the College of Nurses standards of Nursing Practice, Extendicare’s Resident Manual and Quality of Care Standards.
