Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor Location: London, ON Plant – On site Reports to: Planning Manager JOB OVERVIEW: Under the general supervision of the Planning Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse activities ensuring safety compliance, optimizing storage solutions, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and leading a team of warehouse staff. KEY RESPOSIBILITIES: Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team performance. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure proper documentation for chemical products stored and shipped. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures in compliance with Plant and local regulations) to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure Shipping/Receiving Team is trained and follows ISO, QMP, and EH&S Policies Receiving & Shipping: Coordinate the receiving of raw materials, equipment, and supplies, as well as the shipping of finished products to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Warehouse Organization: Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of chemical products to minimize hazards and maximize space utilization in compliance with industry regulations. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse operations for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety. Documentation & Reporting: Monitors shipments to ensure OTIF is met for Plant target of 96%. Interacts with External Warehouse – Product Returns, Inventory Count Discrepancies as well as Coordinates direct shipments to customers. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as production, quality control, planning and customer service to meet operation needs and ensure smooth workflow. Skills & Certifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a post-secondary degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is an asset. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervision, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment. Certifications: WHMIS training (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) is required. Additional certifications in safety management, first aid, or hazardous materials handling are preferred. SKILLS: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of warehouse management software (WMS). Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Advanced computer applications in Microsoft Office (Excel, Tableau, word) MRP System Experience – SAP an Asset TDG Knowledge an Asset Fork Truck License Results oriented with a demonstrated sense of urgency Energetic, enthusiastic – conveys a sense of commitment to the group Disciplined with exceptional work standards Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Versatile, highly motivated team player committed to Customer Service Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, handling several projects at one time and meet deadlines Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proactive problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude.
