The Co-Op Student will play an integral part of the Acciona Infrastructure North America (AINA)’s Quality team. In addition to having engineering qualifications the holder of this position must exhibit comprehension of general quality assurance and quality control responsibilities. Under the direct reporting to the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project Data QA/QC Coordinator, the Co-Op Student will be able to provide support to QA Team. Job Description Co-Op Job Learning Outcomes Assist with content, statistics and graphic for Quality Management System. Maintain and update quality tracking logs Support NCR process and maintenance of. the NCR tracking system. Support on quality statistics and reporting. Working in ACONEX platform to upload and maintain Quality Records. Assist in the assembly of Quality Records, including checklists and laboratory records. Other Quality related tasks requested by the Quality Team. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to deal with sensitive issues with tact. Ability to be assertive when required. A good understanding of industrial processes, human resources, or similar fields. Interest in understanding how Project Agreement is written and applied, collecting, processing, and evaluating the on-site data. Ability to work with applications which support QA/QC management (e.g. Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, documents and records databases, etc. AutoCAD, Bluebeam and BIM would be asset). Required Skills and Competencies Civil Engineering undergraduate student. Expertise in MS Access, MS Office and standard engineering software Currently enrolled in a university or technical college diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
