We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Videographer/Digital Content Creator to join our Marketing team in Langley, BC. Reporting to the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for creating compelling digital content that aligns with the brand and marketing strategy of a variety of Pattison Food Group’s retail banners. In this role, you will be an integral part of a team that crafts and delivers captivating content across various platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness. As a creator and innovative storyteller who is passionate about food imagery, you will help develop content creation strategies that produce scalable content programs. You will be responsible for: Working with marketing briefs to produce on-brand strategies, concepts, and storyboards that lead to effective, high-quality digital content. Collaborating and liaising with marketing managers, colleagues, and internal teams to brainstorm innovative ideas, discuss requirements, make recommendations, develop content creation strategies, align on objectives, and iterate based on learnings and performance metrics. Developing a comprehensive understanding of our various brands, bringing forward innovative ideas for content series that are authentic and engaging. Taking projects from concept to completion efficiently, within tight deadlines, while maintaining a high creative standard. Lighting, filming, editing, and colour grading short videos that entertain and engage our customers with our brands, people, and products. Using motion graphics animation software and AI to create scroll-stopping digital content. Taking photos, ensuring proper composition, lighting, exposure, styling, and colour correction. Designing sets and backgrounds, and sourcing props as required. Co-ordinating with outside videographers and photographers as required. You have: A post-secondary diploma or degree in a visual arts discipline such as videography, photography, graphic design, or a related program. 3-5 years’ experience in professional videography, digital content creation, or commercial photography. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. An understanding of composition, lighting, animation, design, and typography. A marketing mindset and knowledge of digital marketing, including platform-specific requirements and trends for social media, digital display ads, email, websites, etc. A strong portfolio/demo reel which illustrates your best work so far. Copywriting skills and familiarity with software such as Canva, Firefly or Asana is an asset. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel on an as needed basis. An excellent communicator, both verbal and written. Passionate about food, and a creator who excels at visual storytelling, with a keen eye for style and detail.
