Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? As the Manager, IT Enterprise Issues Management, you will be responsible to support the IT Enterprise Issues Management Program with the identification and risk management of IT Issues, providing monitoring and oversight of all identified IT and Cyber Security issues, including developing and maintaining processes to effectively assess IT Risk Issues and ensure the appropriateness of plans to mitigate IT risk to RBC. What will you do? Support the effective oversight for the IT Issues management Program to provide Senior Management and other (internal/external) stakeholders with the ability to make risk informed decisions. Execute the effective assessment for self-identified IT findings (risk remediation or risk acceptance), including action/remediation plans for audit issues and risk findings to determine if a control deficiency or gap results from the finding/self-identified IT issue. Controls Consultation (design of net new controls) to provide recommendations based on best practices and lessons learned through IT issue management lifecycle. Support the development, implementation and operationalization of processes related to IT issue management to enhance and align the IT Issue Management process in the IT Risk Issue Management application within Archer (both in terms of User Experience and Back End Design) Drive analytic insights and capabilities from IT Risk Issue Management (largest issue data set at RBC) to improve the RBC risk posture and inform spend. Drive the execution of relevant IT Risk roadmaps and other related deliverables. Work with Business/Technology Leads to ensure that project deliverables achieve the business result that enables value creation. Provide superior client experience and strengthen relationships with all key stakeholders and partners. Ensure optimal delivery by removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance. Seek and promote innovative or improved methods of delivery and implement best practices while ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide Business & IT Architecture. What do you need to succeed? Must-have: Good understanding of IT Risk space. Strategic skills to develop long-term visions and the ability to translate them into actionable roadmaps that are broadly accepted. A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within the financial services industry, with experience working in a risk management capacity. Excellent communication, relationship and vendor management skills. General knowledge of industry best practices and internal methodologies. Certification/Membership in a Risk/Control organization such as ISACA, RIMS, CISSP. A strategic leader and thinker, able to develop short and long-term plans to execute strategic priorities. Strong organizational awareness, business acumen, and customer orientation. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex issues. What’s in it for you?
