Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Summary: Join our dynamic team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a PDS Proposal Specialist. This outstanding opportunity allows you to work closely with our Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS), providing world-class proposals for product development, scale-up, and registration manufacturing services. You will play a crucial role in crafting cost workbooks for new and rapidly growing projects, interpreting technical information, and preparing quotations for our clients. Essential Functions: Generate cost workbooks and WORD proposals for new business or project expansion opportunities. Ensure all quote activities, including revisions, are completed in a timely manner. Collaborate with the technical team to determine the approach and scope of projects. Independently issue 3-4 new quotes of varying degrees of difficulty per week. Update SFDC reports and records regularly. Participate in client meetings or conference calls. Provide assistance to Managers and Directors as needed. Prepare project tracking reports for Senior Management on a quarterly basis. Required qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or B.Sc. or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for product development, project management, manufacturing, regulatory, or quality assurance roles. Equivalency: Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of pharmaceutical drug development processes. Experience in business development, technical writing, or quotations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be diligent. Proficiency in English.
