Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The Analyst, Procurement Strategy & Transformation will be responsible for bringing the facts and data to our procurement decision-making processes. You’ll support category strategies and RFx analytics across Global Procurement, while solving problems using data-driven insights. You’ll be part of a fun and engaged team of master storytellers who use facts and data to solve problems (big and small) and improve outcomes. To be successful, you’ll have expert analytical capabilities and a strong attention to detail, along with the ability to efficiently analyze large data sets in Excel and pull out the options, recommendations, and story you want to tell in a presentation format. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across Global Procurement, have a willingness to challenge the status quo and possess the ability to embrace change. What will you do? Analytics – use facts and data to solve problems: Leverage your analytical prowess to solve tough problems and support the goals and objectives of Global Procurement. This will be done by analyzing third-party spend, supplier pricing proposals, contracts, identifying opportunities and supporting ongoing sourcing engagements. Whether optimizing third-party spend for a particular category or consolidating and comparing pricing submissions from suppliers to identify outcomes, you’ll let the data guide you in solving these often-ambiguous challenges (this will be done through: RFx analytics and decision-making support, spend analysis and planning, benchmarking, industry research, bid evaluation and deal structuring, and spend forecasting). You will develop category and supplier strategies that, in partnership with key stakeholders, can be implemented across the enterprise. Some strategies may lead to transformational changes across Global Procurement and the lines of business. Storytelling – compel meaningful outcomes (changes, actions and more) through powerful and effective storytelling that adapts across all mediums and audiences. Partner with stakeholders to manage the impacts and change that may come from strategies you’ve developed. Continuous improvement – always challenge the status quo: Support various strategic initiatives (big and small) including process re-design, strategy development, budget and priority-setting, digital culture transformation and more – it’s an exciting and fast-paced environment and you’ll be required to leverage your problem-solving, communication, project management, change management and creativity skills to be successful. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias Two years’ experience in business/financial analytics, with progressive responsibility and a demonstrated track record of delivery Expert level in Microsoft Office applications; particularly PowerPoint and Excel skills (pivots, complex logic statements, lookups, etc.) Strong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills Meticulous attention to detail Nice-to-have Tableau and/or Power BI experience Related experience within a matrixed corporate environment What’s in it for you?
