Join our team today!Job DescriptionReports to the Clinical Manager of the Functional Enhancement Unit, Complex Continuing Care, and Reactivation Care Centre. You will provide Recreation Therapy assessments, group interventions, 1:1 interventions, and community integration to all patients within the program. You will also support cross coverage to other units within the organization.QualificationsCompletion of a university degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation & Leisure Studies with a therapeutic Recreation option or a related field – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification preferred. Registered Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (R/TRO) members will be considered. Must be a member of the Canadian Therapeutic Recreation Association (CTRA) or Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO) Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a healthcare facilityExperience working with elderly peopleExperience working with people post-strokeExperience with people recovering from a fracture Experience working with persons with cognitive and/or behavioural challengesExperience in developing and conducting group and 1:1 programsExcellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with community resources and demonstrated ability to work well with community partners Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Computer proficiency Excellent attendance, punctuality, and work record Ability to perform physical requirements of the job Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and CollaborationTravel between and work at all Osler sites as operationally requiredAdditional InformationHours: Currently Days, 8 hour shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)Internal application deadline: August 8, 2025#LI-GG1 #TFTOsler values inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
