The Job:
Manage and execute a clear sales strategy to maximise revenue from group bookings and private events across multiple venues.
Handle all incoming event enquiries professionally and efficiently, converting leads into confirmed bookings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, DMCs, event planners, and corporate clients.
Identify and pursue proactive sales opportunities to grow the events pipeline.
Work closely with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and ensure brand alignment across events.
Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure seamless planning and execution of events.
Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors and partners to enhance event visibility and reach.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure our offering remains competitive and innovative.
Represent the company at key events, site visits, and networking opportunities.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality or events industry.
Strong background in group sales, private dining, and event coordination.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event booking systems.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
Fluent in English and Maltese; knowledge of another language is considered a plus.
