We are currently seeking skilled Spray Foam Applicators for a 3-6 week project in one of our client camp locations in Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. The ideal candidates will have proven experience in applying spray foam insulation and will be committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Effectively prepare surfaces for spray application including cleaning and priming.
Calculate the quantity of materials needed for each project.
Apply spray foam insulation to walls, roofs, and other surfaces according to specifications.
Ensure the proper mixing of materials and operation of spraying equipment.
Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Document work completed and report any issues to the supervisor.
Proven experience as a Spray Foam Applicator is required.
Knowledge of handling and safety procedures for spray foam materials.
Ability to operate spray equipment and ensure quality control.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specifications.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials, as well as work in various environmental conditions.
Level 1 First Aid Certification is an asset.
Valid driver's license is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
3 weeks in 3 weeks out rotation in Camp. All food and accommodations provided.
Charter flight to and from camp out of Edmonton - provided.
12 hours daily shifts,
Day rate of between $400-$500 per day, depending on skills and experience.
