Job Description What is the opportunity? We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Manager to lead the RCAP Leasing Credit Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the credit adjudication process for leasing applications, ensuring that all credit decisions are made in accordance with company policies and procedures, and that the team provides exceptional service to our vendor/broker partners and stakeholders. What will you do? Credit Adjudication: Oversee the credit adjudication process, ensuring that all leasing applications are reviewed and decided upon in a timely and efficient manner. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate credit risk to minimize losses and ensure RCAP's risk exposure is managed effectively. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of credit adjudicators to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to make informed credit decisions. Performance Management: Monitor and manage team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure that team members are meeting their goals and objectives. Credit Policy Implementation: Implement and maintain credit policies and procedures to ensure that they are aligned with the company's risk appetite and regulatory requirements. Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve credit adjudication processes to ensure that they are efficient, effective, and aligned with industry best practices. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the team is aware of and complies with all relevant regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations. Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reporting and analytics to stakeholders on credit performance, trends, and issues, and make recommendations for improvement. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management, leasing, or a related field Proven leadership and management experience, with a focus on team development and performance management Strong knowledge of credit risk management principles, leasing products, and regulatory requirements Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions in a timely manner Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation Nice to Have Familiarity with Credit Scoring and collaborating with a team of scorecard experts Familiar with small ticket and mid - large ticket assets and how to lend while balancing risk vs. reward Familiarity with collaborating with Senior Sales on discussing new programs What’s in it for you?
