Tacten is currently seeking a professional, motivated, and forward-thinking IRATA Level 3 Technician to join our growing team in the Atlantic Region, based out of St. John’s, NL.

Responsibilities
The IRATA Level 3 technician will carry out the following
Oversee the day-to-day operations of Technicians assigned to the crew
Review and approve time sheets and Field Level Risk Assessments, addressing deficiencies and providing constructive feedback to technicians
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, training, and skills development to technicians under your supervision
Assist in investigating and documenting near misses, safety incidents, and non-conformances
Serve as the primary emergency contact 24/7 through cell phone availability
Perform necessary services in situations where no other personnel are available for the task
Requirements
IRATA Level 3 Certification
minimum 3 years of heavy rigging experience
1st aid certification and all safety certifications as required within NFLD.
Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level III Rope Access Technician
Be conversant with relevant work techniques

Valid driver's license
Clean driver's abstract

Proficiency/experience in trades/industrial settings
Background in mechanical operations
