We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Designer with strong MicroStation skills to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing civil design tasks for a variety of municipal infrastructure projects.You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, including 2 days /week in our?Mississauga or Bowmanville?office.? Primary Responsibilities:Manage civil design and drafting efforts for municipal infrastructure projectsCollaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop accurate and effective design solutions.Prepare detailed civil drawings, site plans, and 3D models using MicroStation, as well as AutoCAD and Revit as required.Ensure all design outputs meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications, while supporting quality assurance and control processes.Provide design support throughout the project lifecycle, including during planning, permitting, construction, and close-out.Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and as-builts for alignment with project requirements.Mentor and support junior designers and technologists, promoting a collaborative and technically strong work environment.QualificationsDiploma or associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline.Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design for municipal infrastructure, preferably in water and wastewater systems.Expert-level proficiency in MicroStation is required; experience with AutoCAD and Revit is a strong asset.Proven ability to produce high-quality, constructible designs and to interpret engineering concepts into practical drawings.Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Experience working on multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with stakeholders is an asset.At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
