Sales Manager – Western Canada Weir ESCO British Columbia, CAN Remote Purpose of Role: The Sales Manager is responsible for optimizing the ESCO brand’s competitive position within the region by developing strong customer relationships and highly effective distribution channels. They will be responsible for sales activities that will achieve or surpass sales growth, develop new accounts, strengthen relationships, and establish the ESCO brand as a “value added” leader in the market place. Key Responsibilities: Manage Sales Accounts: Call on assigned accounts as well as search out new business to sell products in the ESCO pipeline through regular on site visits - expectation is 80% of time is field time with customers. Provide ongoing, profitable sales growth consistent with current forecasts by establishing and maintaining external customer relationships as assigned Evaluate the Market: Evaluate distribution alternatives to expand business; upgrade current distribution as needed and develop new customers. Negotiate through various situations, report facts in detail, and make recommendations for course of action Maintain Product Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of the application and operation of ESCO products. Train dealers, agents and customers on the value, use and maintenance of ESCO products Update Salesforce: Leverage Salesforce to manage accounts & opportunities on a daily basis including tracking leads and analyzing data.
