About the team
At Kinaxis, the Product Operations team helps product teams scale efficiently by improving processes, tools, and cross-functional collaboration. It acts as the connective tissue between product management, engineering, go-to-market teams, deployment, support and customer success. It ensures clear communication, alignment, and accountability, empowering teams to move swiftly while focusing on core objectives.
As an Operations Lead, you will manage cross-functional investment(s) of varying complexity that enable strategic execution working with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market (GTM) which includes Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Enablement. You will streamline delivery by proactively identifying blockers, facilitating coordination, and managing scope andinterdependencies. You’ll help ensure both input metrics (effort, velocity, activity) and outputmetrics (results, outcomes) are aligned with our company goals.
What you will do
Program Management
Lead and coordinate planning and implementation of cross-functional Engineeringinvestments.
Ensure alignment with strategic goals and ensure timely, quality delivery.
Streamline execution by removing blockers and partnering with discipline leads.
Track key milestones, decisions, and trade-offs.
Collaborate with leadership to define and monitor the North Star Metric, including bothinput and output metrics.
Partner with Finance for P&L and profitability monitoring per investment.
Vision & Strategy
Contribute to defining investment vision and roadmap in partnership with senior leaders.
Develop and maintain strategic plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Coordinate resource allocation and evaluate performance.
Successfully launch and land investments on time, within scope, and on budget.
Process & Change Management
Enhance and streamline execution processes to increase delivery efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement efforts and adapt to evolving requirements.
Support Engineering teams with change management best practices.
Relationships Building
Partner with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and GTM leaders to meet quarterly goals.
Build strong collaborative relationships across teams.
Create alignment on goals, strategy, and vision.
Operate primarily with Management-level stakeholders across Engineering and GTM.
Communication & Collaboration
Communicate investment status, risks, and updates to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Maintain transparency through clear reporting and issue escalation.
Provide high-level and detailed updates across organizational levels.
Own and maintain a feedback loop to proactively adapt plans as needed.
AI & Automation Enablement
Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Jira AI, Confluence AI) to: automate reporting, generate insights, and summarize stakeholder updates. Improve program tracking and dependency management. Predict and surface delivery risks using historical and current metrics.
Drive operational efficiency through intelligent task management, synthesis, and meeting preparation using AI-powered systems
What we are looking for
Experience & Skills
5+ years of experience in program or product operations within fast-paced tech or SaaS environments, with a proven track record of close collaboration with GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) to ensure successful product launches, market readiness, and alignment on strategic priorities.
Deep understanding of software delivery life cycles and cross-functional coordinationacross Product, Engineering, and GTM.
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale initiatives and investments with visibility andimpact across multiple functions—including strategic GTM planning, launch enablement, and pipeline health tracking.
Skilled in using AI and automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jira AI, Power BI) to enhance reporting, surface business insights, forecast risks, and streamline operational workflows.
Leadership & Communication
Highly effective communicator—concise, clear, and adapted to various audiences.
Trusted relationship builder who prioritizes alignment and collaboration.
Adept at organizing workstreams and facilitating progress across teams.
Tools & Certifications
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, and AHA.
Experience with AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion AI, Power BI).
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
