The officer assigned to Corporate Compensation is responsible for developing and implementing communication tools to support pay and benefits services. This role represents the House of Commons Compensation Services in liaising with the Treasury Board Secretariat, Public Services and Procurement Canada, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing, delivering, and ensuring the timely dissemination of pay and benefits information, and implementing tools and processes as part of quality assurance.The officer supporting Operations is accountable for the development of a framework for the implementation and provision of specialized learning, skills development, schedule training and evaluate the progress of the Pay and Benefits team and the delivery of adaptive training to the Compensation Services team. The incumbent develops learning plans and identifies development needs and priorities to ensure the quality, efficiency and integrity of the Compensation Services activities and to promote service excellence.These positions require strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills in both official languages, including business writing, presenting, listening, and synthesizing complex information to advise operational teams effectively. Expertise in interpreting regulations, policies, and procedures is essential. Work-life balance /35-hour workweek 4 weeks’ vacation (minimum)QualificationsEducation?: Post-secondary diploma in a related field (i.e. Human Resources, Finance, Administration) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in pay administration. Experiences?: Expert knowledge of pay and benefits theory, principles, practices, and of associated systems (Human Resources Management Integrated Systems - HRMIS, Phoenix, Members' Employee Management Systems - MEMS); Experience in the interpretation of regulations, policies and procedures in human resources or related field;Experience in conducting research and analysis in quality assurance; Experience advising clients and stakeholders on pay and benefits matters, and recommending effective solutions to support organizational initiatives; Experience in developing, implementing and delivering new or revised processes, procedures and training is required for the Corporate Compensation stream.
