Role:
The Field Services Manager reports in to the Director, Hatcheries, and oversees operations, ensures high-quality service delivery, and maintains strong customer relationships while managing a team.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate activities of field technicians, ensuring efficient scheduling and dispatching to meet customer service needs
Build and maintain relationships with poultry producers and supply chain stakeholders
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
Develop and enforce service standards, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations in poultry operations
Conduct regular quality checks to uphold these standards
Train and mentor field team members to enhance skills related to poultry service management, including equipment maintenance, animal welfare practices, and compliance with health regulations
Monitor service contracts and performance metrics, providing regular reports on team productivity and service outcomes
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures
Analyze service delivery processes to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Business Management, or equivalent is an asset
Proven experience in field service management or a related technical role, ideally within the poultry industry or agricultural services
Familiarity with poultry equipment and technology, along with industry practices regarding poultry health, biosecurity, and production efficiency
Strong leadership abilities to motivate team members and foster a collaborative work environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers, staff, and other stakeholders
Ability to tackle issues as they arise, with a focus on finding effective solutions to operational challenges
Working Conditions:
On-site visits to farms or processing facilities, as well as in-office
May involve travel to different locations to supervise field operations
May require out-of-province travel
Some manual tasks like lifting equipment or walking through farm environments
