We are seeking a dynamic, detail orientated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences. You will be the pillar of our HR administrative and coordination efforts, supporting a team of HR professionals across the country.
The Human Resources Coordinator reports directly to the National Director, Human Resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
General Duties:
• Provide exemplary customer service as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from operations and national branch staff.
• Coordinate and support HR programs and initiatives, ensuring a seamless execution and follow thru.
• Provide day to day coordination support across HR functions including employee changes and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate records and retrieval of documents to and from archives and stakeholders for audit and other purpose.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for tracking promotions, departures, changes, leaves of absence and salary administration.
• Assist in generating reports and tracking analysis
• Assist in providing HR Systems interpretation, support, training and provide knowledge and expertise to all system changes.
• Aid in the interpretation of Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of provincial legislation relating to Employment Standards, Human Rights, Workplace Health & Safety, and Labour laws.
• Complete other tasks as requested.
Work Location : Bayshore Healthcare, National Office, Mississauga ON
Hybrid – At least 2 days onsite weekly
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Human Resources or Business Management an asset
• Working towards CHRP designation would be considered an asset
Experience & Skills Required
• 1-2+ year of progressive HR experience an asset in related industry/field
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Understanding and knowledge of legislation and best practices in HR
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Take initiative and has a willingness to take on additional responsibilities
• Ability to manage, protect, and maintain confidential information
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong commitment to continual learning
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Detailed-orientated, highly motivated analytical thinker and able to develop practical solutions
• Experienced in Microsoft Office suite
