Job Summary Job Description What is this opportunity? RBC’s Personal & Commercial Technology group is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support a high-visibility, AI-driven transformation initiative for our mortgage platform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strategic project at the intersection of financial services and cutting-edge technology. What will you do? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams Perform SQL-based data mining and data analysis to support business decisions and project insights Participate in design reviews and walk-throughs Independently leading sessions to obtain key inputs from SMEs, Architects, Technology Leads Conduct detailed business process analysis and develop comprehensive process flow diagrams, user stories, functional specification documents, and use cases to facilitate system design and development Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owner Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage and track project requirements, tasks, and documentation Ensure alignment with Agile delivery practices and timelines Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions Participate in daily stand-up meetings Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including project managers, business leaders, and technical teams What do you need to succeed? Must Have: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a BSA Proven experience working in an Agile framework, with knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices Proficient in SQL querying for data mapping, data analysis and data mining Previous experience with API specifications Experience with UML and flow diagrams Experience with tools like Postman/Swagger, effectively use tools like Jira, Confluence, Mural, Figma etc. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills Nice to Have: Prior Programming and development background would be nice to have. Financial Industry experience, ideally focused on mortgage or lending platforms What’s in it for you?
