Job Summary Job Description What is the Opportunity? The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in downtown Toronto is seeking an Associate to join a successful Advisory Team. You will provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, efficient support to both clients and the Advisor Team. What will you do? Support team's investment management operations, executing trades and rebalancing portfolios. Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery. Provide trade surveillance and ensure accuracy of portfolio holdings relative to the Investment Policy Statement. Work with Advisor to develop the investment models. Assist advisor in the creation of portfolio proposals for prospective clients. Monitor fixed income maturities for reinvestment Manage and execute on cash flow processes. Manage tax loss selling process in coordination with advisor. Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, provide regular updates to advisory team. Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary. Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisor with their clients/prospects. Participate in client meetings when required. May be required to provide primary relationship for a select group of clients, executing on the service offering and contact plan for assigned clients What do you need to succeed? Must-have Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) Working towards or completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) Course Microsoft Office products experience Strong attention to detail Strong time management and organization skills Nice-to-have Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures.
