The Industrial Counter Sales is key to serving customers in the heavy equipment, trucking, and industrial sectors. This role involves assisting walk-in and phone-in customers, providing expert advice on parts and components, sourcing specialty items, and supporting the sales teams. You will also assist in assembling hydraulic and industrial hose products to meet customer requirements. SHIFT HOURS Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM One Saturday a month: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Schedule pending) What we can offer you: A competitive salary. Your Daily Contribution & Impact: Greet and assist heavy-duty customers at the front counter and by phone Identify customer needs and recommend suitable parts, components, or assemblies Provide accurate quotes and technical product information Build hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial hose assemblies to specification Source non-stocked parts from vendor network Maintain organized parts displays and inventory shelves Assist in receiving, stocking, and shipping parts Foster strong customer relationships through responsive and knowledgeable service Keep the counter and workspace clean, safe, and professional Participate in product/vendor training sessions Perform other duties as assigned Expertise & Essential Skills: High school diploma required Prior experience in heavy-duty truck, equipment, or industrial parts sales is an asset Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic systems is an asset Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted Team player with a positive attitude and desire to learn Valid driver’s license Why Bumper to Bumper?
