Job Description:
We are seeking a Product Designer with a passion for creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing B2C user experiences to add a needed dynamic to our B2B Saas design team. You’ll play a key role in improving the look and feel of our customer-facing interfaces, with a focus on mobile-friendly and mobile-first interfaces. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their design career who’s eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact.
You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, product owners, developers, and other designers to bring ideas to life—from wireframes to polished UI. If you’re curious, detail-oriented, and excited about designing for real users who may even be your family or neighbours, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:
Own design projects from initiation through planning, requirements, implementation, and post-implementation reviews
Design strong, intuitive, elegant, and accessible interfaces for web and mobile applications supported through a test and learn process
Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
Collaborate with product managers, product owners, developers, customers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into innovative design solutions
Create design specifications and pixel perfect designs with tools like Figma and work with developers to ensure that designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately
Present and communicate concepts, designs, and prototypes to cross-functional team members, customers and other stakeholders with clarity
Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts
Develop and maintain design guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency across all products
Use and expand/improving on our design system/components
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Continuously iterate and improve designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in design, UX, and technology to continually improve the user experience
Requirements and Skills:
Diploma or degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Software Engineering, or something similar
2+ years of experience as a Product Designer, preferably in a B2C environment or with a B2B2C product line (Freelance / Co-op work welcomed). ECommerce experience is a plus
An understanding of design methodologies, conducting research and data analyses, prototyping, and stress and user testing
Some experience designing for mobile interfaces (responsive web included)
Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
Interest in Graphic Design and visual storytelling is a plus
An understanding of working with Dev teams with a system such as Jira for work and task management is a plus
Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others
Strong communication skills to explain design decisions effectively and a user-first attitude
