We’koqma’q First Nation is currently seeking three (3) compassionate and dedicated Temporary Home Care Workers or Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs) to join our health team. These are 1-year term positions with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
Maintain accurate records and report changes in client conditions
Work collaboratively with the health team to ensure quality care
Qualifications:
Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) or equivalent experience in home care
Current First Aid & CPR certification
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Respect for confidentiality and cultural sensitivity
