The candidate will be based in Toronto and will be responsible for selling Schweitzer products and services, and promoting sales and new business, to existing and potential clients.

Tasks
Promoting sales to existing clients by developing and maintaining strong relationships and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products or services
Identify and soliciting potential clients through market research to develop new business relationships
Negotiating terms and conditions to satisfy both client and company requirements
Preparing sales documentation in compliance with company policies
Providing ongoing support and after sales assistance to clients, to support client retention
Reviewing market information and conditions to stay updated on industry trends
Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including pre-sales consultations and technical presentations
The position will require some travel to meet clients and attend industry events, and flexibility to work at times that may accommodate potential international clients of the Schweitzer group, as necessary.
Requirements
Relevant experience in sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Familiarity with shopfitting sector preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to negotiate and close sales effectively
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and able to generate new ideas to overcome challenges
Technical skills: AutoCad, Revit
Empathic team player
A client-focused mindset
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies
Post-secondary degree preferred
excellent English skills
Benefits
Base salary of $50,000 to $65,000, plus potential discretionary bonus
