About the Role
The Learning Technology Specialist brings Executive Education courses to life through expert use of learning technologies, multimedia, and design. In a fast-paced, agile team, this role leads the end-to-end design, build, and maintenance of LMS course sites, manages multimedia content, ensures a consistent, high-quality learner experience, and provides direct technical support to instructors. The position is central to delivering high-quality, scalable online and hybrid learning experiences for SFU Beedie Executive Education’s credit, non-credit and micro-credential portfolio, including new and existing Digital Innovation and Leadership (DIAL) programs.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Education, Business, or a related discipline and three years of related experience in areas such as instructional design, and support on specialized Learning Management Systems (LMS), or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Proficiency with LMS platforms (preferably Canvas) and integrated educational technology tools, including emerging tools.
Experience creating and configuring course materials, multimedia content, assessments, and interactive activities.
Ability to design and maintain well-structured LMS course sites with consistent, high-quality user experience.
Strong project coordination skills in managing multiple technology-enabled projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills when working with instructors, industry experts, and internal teams.
