The Opportunity
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position works independently to
provide administrative support to the Director and site through leadership on
key delegated responsibilities, assessment, prioritization, and execution of
same. This is a leadership position providing direction, coordination and
oversight to the site’s, administrative, and receptionist positions including
the overlay of Trust Office duties within those roles.
Key accountabilities include; recruitment, hiring, onboarding, orientation,
supervision, and performance management of aforementioned positions; preparing
management and administrative staff’s payroll; processing financial
transactions; managing budgets and variance reporting within the administrative
budget; tracking and maintaining detailed internal and external audit
information; developing and maintaining site-based processes and procedures
based on division of responsibilities with the Site Manager. Developing
site-based correspondence related to clinical care and services (versus
site-based building, equipment, and technology projects and services, which
falls to the Site Manager).
Responsible for other duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Recognized certificate/diploma in Office/Business Administration required.
· Minimum 5 years of senior administrative experience required.
· Advanced computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive, ePeople,
eManager, Oracle, etc.).
· This position requires high attention to detail, initiative, and the ability
to work with minimal supervision.
· Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are required.
· Embrace continuous and innovative improvement of current services to improve
client satisfaction/outcomes.
· Builds effective working relationships with internal and external
stakeholders.
· Maintains a positive image of Carewest through positive working relationships
