Groupe Marcelle is currently seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence (BI).
Reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Finance, the Manager, BI plays a pivotal role within our organization by leading and overseeing the business intelligence team. This individual is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the company. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the company’s data strategy and make a meaningful impact on strategic decisions through data analysis.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
Lead and manage a team of BI professionals
Provide strong leadership and foster a positive working environment with business partners
Design dashboards, reports, analytical tools and data warehouses to meet stakeholder needs
Oversee the acquisition, transformation, and integration of data from various internal and external sources
Drive BI projects while ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver appropriate solutions
Ensure the maintenance, optimization and continuous improvement of existing BI solutions
Stay current with trends and technological advancements in the BI field
Develop and maintain BI standards and best practices across the organization
Contribute to business process transformation with a focus on digitization and efficiency
Lead the BI community and encourage active collaboration among its members
Provide application support to users
WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
Seven to ten (7 to 10) years of relevant experience, including at least five (5) years in a similar role
In-depth understanding of databases, data warehouses and BI architectures
Experience developing with Cognos Analytics and SQL Server
Experience with Planning Analytics (TM1) is required
Experience with the JD Edwards / EnterpriseOne ERP system is an asset
AND IF YOU ARE
Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written (This role requires bilingualism due to frequent collaboration with partners across Canada, including English speaking regions)
Previous experience in team management
Strong ability to work collaboratively and manage projects
Demonstrated autonomy and initiative
Business acumen and experience in a manufacturing company are considered assets
Ability to structure and lead meetings with multidisciplinary and multi-level stakeholders
