YOUR CAREER
As a Solution Architect for our Customer Practice, you will be responsible for
leading the successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions and services across a
variety of product lines including CSM, FSM, FSO, and more, for large client
programs. The Solution Architect is responsible for leading and mentoring a team
of Software Engineers on projects and aligning project tasks to engineers’ skill
set. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for hosting workshops,
architecting, designing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
You will provide technical pre-sales support and input regarding solutions,
structure, and growth for complex professional services projects.
YOUR IMPACT
- Assist Pre-Sales team with scoping service engagements involving multiple
ServiceNow products.
- Serve as the primary technical point-of-contact for projects and represent
the engineering team to the customer.
- Define technical solutions aligned with client’s business problems and
ServiceNow best practices.
- Write and estimate Stories, monitor engineers’ work, and ensure quality and
delivery of development.
- Conduct demos, deliver documentation, and facilitate knowledge transfer
activities.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to address scope creep and resolve
technical issues.
- Work with Pre-sales and project managers to minimize unnecessary
customization and technical debt.
- Draft and publish technical and process documentation within the company
repository.
- Facilitate customer workshops to capture and define customer requirements.
- Research industry trends to propose product enhancements for NewRocket.
- Provide engineers with architectural blueprints and requirements for
implementations.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 8-12 years of experience in application development at a SaaS, PaaS, or
Enterprise Software Development Company.
- 3+ years of ServiceNow Platform Experience with a deep understanding of its
architecture.
- Experience with CSM, FSM, FSO product areas on the ServiceNow Platform.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex situations.
- Fundamental understanding of the CSM data model.
- Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow
integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC,
ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
- Proficiency with documentation software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to lead the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions
in client environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL and ServiceNow-specific certifications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong scripting skills in the ServiceNow platform.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or technology related field
preferred, or equivalent experience
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required, current or obtain
within 6 months.
- Certified Implementation Specialist (specific domain area) required, current
or obtain within 6 months
- ServiceNow Pre-sales accreditations
- ServiceNow Micro-certs, nice to have!
This position may require occasional travel, both domestic and international, as
part of the job responsibilities.
