Registrar and Information Services is the first point of contact for students both current and future. If a student has a question, they reach out to our unit. We are here to assist students with navigating the University.
About the Role
As the first point of contact at Student Services, you handle diverse inquiries about SFU's educational programs, student records, administrative deadlines, financial assistance, government programs, and university policies. Additionally, you issue official documentation like transcripts, confirmation letters, and process payments for tuition and services. As part of the role you will also produce photo identity cards and maintain the card production equipment.

Qualifications
High school graduation and general courses or training of moderate duration (one semester equivalent) including word processing, database and spreadsheet applications and in office practices. 3 years of related experience, including experience processing large volumes of cash/debit and credit card transactions, balancing receipts, providing customer service and using database applications. An equivalent combination of formal education, certificate/program of study and experience is acceptable.
Ability to use database, spreadsheet, and word processing applications (e.g., SIMS, Excel, Word) at an intermediate level.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material with discretion.
