Referral Clerk (Full-Time, Remote | Calgary-based)

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by helping others? Satori Health is looking for a Referral Clerk to join our collaborative healthcare team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring patients receive timely access to diagnostic tests, specialists, and essential healthcare services. This is a full-time remote position with the flexibility of working from home, while being based in Calgary, AB.
What You’ll Do
As a Referral Clerk, you’ll be the link that ensures patients receive the right care, at the right time. You will:
Make patient care referrals to third party stakeholders
Coordinate and process medical referrals with accuracy and efficiency
Schedule and follow up on appointments with specialists and diagnostic providers
Support physicians, MOAs, and clinics in preparing medical documentation
Answer patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism
Safeguard confidential health information in compliance with Alberta Health Information Act
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless care
What You Bring
Medical office assistant/administrator or unit clerk certificate/diploma
2+ years of experience with medical terminology, data entry & record keeping
Experience working within the Calgary healthcare system is an asset
Accuro and Connect Care experience is a bonus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication
Highly organized with excellent problem-solving abilities
Collaborative, team-first mindset
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and knowledge of privacy regulations
