This is a full-time role, based on a 40-hour work week. Additional hours may be required from time to time to accommodate business activities.

Core responsibilities
· Proficiently and safely troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, adjust, all types of mechanical machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant
· Repair and install piping, pneumatics, hydraulic systems
· Fabricate and install machine guards, guard rails and other non-structural welding
· Apply preventive and predictive maintenance techniques including lube oil analysis, vibration analysis and thermal imaging
· Utilize computerized work order system to report on completion of assigned tasks and recommend further actions.
· Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings and work instructions.
· Respond to facility emergencies
· Perform other duties as assigned
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
· Valid 433A licence, Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
· Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
· Experience in the safe operation of various mobile / lifting equipment such as fork lifts, scissor and boom lifts, rigging equipment, etc.
· Strong service, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
· Ability to prioritize work with input from maintenance and production supervisors and other key personnel
· Work closely with other CGT trades to assist in troubleshooting and expediting repairs
· Working experience with the following: compressed air, chilled water, steam and thermal oil piping, pneumatic conveying and batch processing, hydraulics and pneumatic systems, conveyors, rollers, bearings, gear reducers, couplings, belt and chain drives, machinery lubrication, precision alignment, fractional to 400 HP.
· Additional experience in rebuilding and installation of centrifugal, diaphragm and gear pumps, and rebuilding and installation of fans and blowers
· Provide support to the facility plumbing and sprinkler systems
· Excellent communications skills and basic computer skills required. Experience using work order systems is necessary.
· Experience in thermoplastic sheet film manufacturing or other web fed processes including printing, laminating, winding, and conveyors is preferred, but not required.
