Position Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for leading
cross-functional initiatives that drive innovation, efficiency, and successful
commercialization of new and existing products. This role requires strong
project management capabilities, technical understanding of manufacturing
processes, and the ability to collaborate across departments including Sales,
Operations, QA, Regulatory Affairs, and Procurement. This role ensures projects
are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while aligning with
strategic business goals and customer needs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product development projects,
from concept through commercialization.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to
ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among internal teams and external
stakeholders to align project goals and execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure
project success.
- Oversee application testing, implementation, and operational readiness for
new product initiatives.
- Monitor and report on project status, KPIs, and deliverables to leadership
and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple concurrent projects.
- Facilitate project kick-offs, milestone reviews, and post-mortems.
- Lead cross-functional teams including PD, Sales, Operations, Quality, and
Regulatory.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and
accountability.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles to maintain project momentum.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and
mitigation strategies.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the project
lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project dashboards and performance metrics.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
- Manage change requests and assess impact on timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
REQUIRED SKILL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, with Food Science being an asset
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in food manufacturing
environments
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional
projects
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 5S principles
are an asset
- Familiarity with ERP systems, project tracking software, and regulatory
documentation processes
