We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist with strong ADP knowledge to join our People & Capability team and help us deliver accurate and efficient payroll services for our employees. About the Role As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll be responsible for processing and balancing payroll for RAC employees, while also supporting the Payroll Manager in improving payroll processes, reporting, and audit responses. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll outcomes, while building strong relationships across the business. This roles is available on a Full Time, 12month Contract basis. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with payroll processing and providing expertise in ADP payroll systems. Supporting payroll process improvements, reporting, and audit preparation. Managing payroll administration, including payments and deductions (e.g., PAYG, payroll tax, workers compensation, child support, Centrelink). Reconciling transactions back to financial reporting. Preparing reports and documents for internal and external stakeholders. Supporting colleagues by sharing payroll knowledge and skills. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated payroll experience within a medium-sized organisation. Knowledge and experience with ADP (or Workday) payroll systems (desirable). Experience responding to payroll audit requests and reporting requirements Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate outcomes under time constraints. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business. Adaptability and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
