Learn more at shn.ca Job Description: Scarborough Health Network (SHN) is a three-hospital network and is currently looking for an experienced personnel to fill the role of Project Coordinator, Wayfinding and Space Operations, a permanent full-time position, as part of the Facilities Planning, Redevelopment and PMO. As a key staff of the Facilities Planning and Space Management within FP,R &PMO, the PROJECT COORDINATOR, WAYFINDING AND SPACE OPERATIONS is responsible for managing the wayfinding key plan and requests platform, the booking system updates, support on moves and updates on as-builts. The role will assist the PM teams with their wayfinding needs and process new unit requests and help out with the design projects under the direction of the Manager, Facilities Planning and Space Management. This is a hybrid position, with 4 days to be onsite currently, but subject to change in the future to full onsite presence, office-base by Consilium Place and is expected to occasionally travel in between sites. Duties Update and maintain architectural master drawings for all SHN Hospitals. Maintain the Space Inventory and the Wayfinding Platform as tied with the As-Builts. Work with stakeholders to design test fits, simplified maps and graphics, feasibility studies, 3D modelling, block plans Assist with any requests pertaining to pulling space data and reference drawings Plan & execute space & wayfinding projects across all SHN Hospitals. Maintain and/or fabricate designs for digital directories, maps, internal and external wayfinding Coordinate and uphold SHN design standards and branding guidelines Support the space planning of multiple simultaneous construction projects Perform quality assurance activities in the form of space and allocation audits Contribute to the development of SHN space utilization guidelines and accessibility standards Perform financial responsibilities related to space and wayfinding projects or requests Perform administrative responsibilities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the department Perform cross-functional and other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned/requested Qualifications Successful completion of a University Degree or College Diploma, preferably in Graphic Design, Art & Design, Interior Design, Architectural or Engineering Technology, or recognized equivalent Experience using AutoCAD and SketchUp Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop & Acrobat Pro) Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Excellent problem recognition and resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is an asset Experience working in healthcare environment is an asset Accommodation and Diversity Statement: Scarborough Health Network (SHN) embraces and celebrates our community’s unique multicultural heritage and diversity.
