As part of our Social and Community Impact division and youth membership, RAC Ignite, we’re looking for a Youth Engagement Advisor who’s driven by purpose, loves working with young people, and thrives in a collaborative environment. About the role As a Youth Engagement Advisor, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering programs that inspire, empower and amplify the voices of young Western Australians (aged 15–24). You’ll lead youth-led initiatives that help young people to succeed and contribute to shaping a safer, more sustainable, and more connected WA. You will also work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure programs are accessible, engaging, and aligned to RAC’s purpose.. What you’ll be doing Via RAC Ignite, develop and manage youth engagement programs, events, and activities across WA. Work directly with young people to shape and deliver programs and build a thriving Alumni network. Collaborate with teams across RAC – including Marketing, Digital, Legal, and Social & Community Impact – to deliver effective initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to expand program reach and impact. Support RAC’s youth membership growth by identifying new opportunities that appeal to young Western Australians. Contribute to evaluation tools and reporting to measure impact and outcomes. Manage project budgets and administration tasks to ensure smooth program delivery. About you You’re passionate about making a difference and creating opportunities for young people to be heard. You’ll bring: Experience in youth engagement, community development, local government or project delivery. A collaborative spirit and great communication skills. Creativity and confidence in designing initiatives that appeal to young people. A growth mindset, with the flexibility to adapt and find innovative solutions. Qualifications in Community Engagement, Youth Work, Education, Social Impact, or a related field (desirable).
