We operate with a flat team structure, where you will have opportunities to
contribute your ideas and take ownership over your work to create meaningful
impact for the business and the customers we serve. If you’re looking for a
vehicle to achieve your professional goals and work alongside fantastic teams,
we invite you to join us.
Your Mission:
As the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager at AfterShip, your mission is to own
and grow the email marketing channel as a key driver of our customer lifecycle
strategy from lead acquisition and nurturing to cross-selling and retention.
You’ll play a critical role in building scalable programs that convert leads
into long-term customers for our global SaaS products, with a strong focus on
the North American market.
You’ll report to the Head of Product Marketing in NA and collaborate closely
with cross-functional teams including Marketing Operations, Product Marketing,
Sales, and Design. Your work will directly impact business growth by launching
high-performing, data-driven email programs that move prospects and customers
through the funnel.
This is a remote role with a preference for candidates located in North America,
as we’re expanding our talent footprint beyond APAC. Given the global nature of
our team and customer base, you may need to accommodate early or late calls 1-2
times per week to collaborate with teams in Asia and Europe. You'll be joining a
fast-moving, metrics-driven environment with the opportunity to expand into
broader lifecycle marketing responsibilities as the email channel scales.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and execute email marketing strategy to support key lifecycle stages such
as lead acquisition, nurturing, cross-selling, onboarding, and retention
across AfterShip’s SaaS products.
- Develop and manage automated workflows (e.g., welcome series, re-engagement
campaigns) using tools like HubSpot, and optimize audience segmentation and
targeting.
- Analyze performance metrics (e.g., open rates, CTR, conversions, revenue
impact) and run A/B tests to continuously improve email effectiveness and
ROI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing ops, product marketing, and
design teams to ensure copy, layout, and strategy align with brand standards
and business goals.
- Ensure global compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR,
CAN-SPAM), and maintain best practices in subscription and data management.
- Stay ahead of trends in email and lifecycle marketing (e.g., AI-driven
personalization, interactive content) and introduce new tactics to scale the
channel.
Who We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of B2B email marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or e-commerce
environments.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms like HubSpot, Mailchimp, or
Instantly.ai.
- Strong writing skills in English with a track record of crafting
high-converting emails.
- Familiarity with global email marketing regulations and best practices.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to guide strategy and improve
performance.
- Excellent collaboration and project management skills across cross-functional
teams.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced global
team.
At AfterShip, we understand that not all applicants will have skills that match
the job description exactly. We value diverse experiences and respect that
