We are proud to provide high quality glass packaging for beer, wine, spirits, food, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will, upon completion of training:Perform mill & lathe work: Modify and repair mold equipment, mold holders, fixtures, jigs, etc. Setup and Operating Haas CnC Mills and Lathe an assetComfortable lifting equipment up to 50lbsPerform Bench Operations such as blending, shaping, matching cavities, making capacity corrections, necessary cavity relief and pantograph work where standard numerals and monograms are usedMake changes in design or capacity of the molds based on customer demandsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMust possess a General Machinist 429A/ Tool and Die Maker License 430A from MinistryExperience with precision measuring devices, such as calipers, depth gauges, and micrometersMachinist skills in measuring and setting up lathes & millsAbility to read and comprehend blueprintsCertificate or Diploma in Cnc setup and Programming using G and M codes an assetAbility/experience using vibrating tools such as die grindersA desire to learn and grow into the Journeyman positionMold Repair Experience preferred (Plastic injection, glass)Welding/fabrication experience also helpfulMust be able to work overtime, including weekend and overnight shiftsMust be able to work continental 12h shiftsAdditional InformationWhat we offer at O-I?Competitive compensationOpportunity for future growth and advancementSupportive teams to help you grow and learn new skillsAre you an innovator, a problem-solver, and someone who thrives on challenges?
