Travel to Office expectations
For Remote Roles: If this role is remote, there will be in-office events that
will require travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Sr Manager, FP&A Business Partnerships will be responsible for
working alongside different business departments, providing financial
information, tools, analysis and insights to executives, challenging their
thinking, helping them make more informed decisions, driving business strategy
to help reach outstanding results. This will be achieved through strong
financial leadership and effective development. This position will be the
Finance Business Partner lead for G&A / Enablement functions and will have 1
direct report.
You will have experience in financial modelling and management of several
complex FP&A cycles, as well as a focus on data, systems, and business insights.
You will also have a proven track record of leveraging financial modelling and
scenario analysis to identify underlying drivers of business growth, and of
demonstrating the ability to effectively partner with business teams across
Marketing, Legal, OCIO, HR, Corporate Strategy, and other departments assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute financial planning, including:
- *Acting as subject matter expert on G&A type spend, driving the needed
interlock on how initiatives from Enablement type functions, impact the rest
of the business
- *Scenario planning, understanding the impact on Long-Range Plan from
different outcomes and creating upside and downside financial projections
- *Design and implement resource planning tools to validate the resource levels
needed in the future
- *Enable planning across different time horizons (quarterly, annual,
multi-year)
- Evolve financial performance reporting, including:
- *Delivery of financial results to Executive / Investor level audience,
including the necessary insights on Budget vs Actual (BvA) performance to
help establish the appropriate actions to perform to Budget
- *Establish best-in-class cost efficiency metrics for Enablement functions, to
partner with business in identifying the right benchmarks and identifying
initiatives and actions to move results closer to the right benchmarks
- *Identify, track, analyze and report on key financial and operational drivers
to measure performance against strategic and operational goals.
- Manage the timely execution of traditional FP&A cycles, including but not
limited to Month-End Close, Annual Budgeting, and Quarterly Forecasting
- Manage business partnerships to create shared accountability in maintaining
accurate forecasts on headcount and discretionary spending for Enablement
functions, including OCIO, HR, Finance, Corporate Strategy, and other
departments assigned.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to advise on decisions that impact the financial
outlook of the business, playing an advisor role in decisions, including but
not limited to, prioritizing the right Enablement initiatives and business
casing to size up opportunities
- Active management and responsibility over the success of direct reports,
including:
- *Establish and manage short and long-term development plans for direct
reports to establish clear expectations for team members
- *Establish a follow-up cadence for team members to understand performance
against set expectations.
- *Fosters a culture of engagement and continuous improvement
- Partner with systems focused teams (e.g. Corporate Data Office, Office of
CIO) to automate and systemize any analytics or new models that are deemed
vital to include in centralized reporting platforms (e.g. FP&A systems, 360
Insights)
- Identify and adopt AI use cases that will strengthen the quality and agility
of planning and analyzing
- Work collaboratively with accounting during monthly / quarterly close cycles
to ensure actuals are booked with accuracy, including maintaining accurate
and up to date accruals
- Proactively work with peers to continue to mature the operation of both the
FP&A team and how the FP&A team interacts with other Finance functions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, Strategy, or teams with similar
responsibilities. A minimum of 2 years in prior technology or SaaS industry
is a key requirement.
- Experience working with G&A functions (e.g., OCIO, HR, Finance) is highly
desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting-related field required, or
equivalent experience. Advanced understanding of different financial and
management reporting principles and frameworks, and deep knowledge of
financial accounting practices
- Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and techniques for
financial analysis, process automation, or insight generation is considered
advantageous
- Experience across entire lifecycle of building new tools or financial models,
including ideation, design, implementation, and sustainability
- Proven examples in the past of leveraging tools and financial models to
influence business partners and inform important and strategic decision
making
- Advanced MS Excel skills, with extensive experience working with PivotTables
and Power BI
- Experience turning large quantities of data into actionable business
insights.

$113,000 - $121,000 a year
At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our
total rewards package. The Canada base salary range for this position is
$113,000 - $121,000 + bonus + benefits, non-overtime eligible. Our salary ranges
are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting
reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada
locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by
job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and
