We are currently hiring three Fish Processors to join our team at the fish processing plant. This is a hands-on role in a cool, wet environment, requiring flexibility and attention to detail.
Core Competencies
Reports to immediate supervisors
Willingness to be trained in various manual tasks including trimming, pin bone removal, and packing
Ability to lift packages up to 30 lbs
Must have reliable transportation
Responsibilities
Perform various tasks throughout the facility including:
Trimming trout fillets to company standards
Manually removing pin bones missed by automated systems using tweezers
Counting and packing fillets into Styrofoam boxes
Maintain health and hygiene standards at all times
Clean and sanitize work areas as required
Mop floors and assist with gear cleaning and storage
Work in a temperature-controlled environment (cool and wet); appropriate dress required
PPE and overclothing (boots, gloves, etc.) provided by the company
Adhere to all company regulations and rules
